They probably do.....

My family has bought a lot of Ford trucks since the 60's. I’m not a huge fan though.

I'd have a Ram 2500, a Tacoma TRD or a Silverado.

When it comes to diesels, that crown comes to Ram. The Cummins is worth it though. Ford has had a string of bad diesels, making them hold their value slightly worse.

People pay for that engine. Plus, as someone who has some time in arguably the worst generation for the interior, it’s a better place to spend time than Chevrolet’s of the same era.

I think Ram’s of all types are higher maintenance than their rivals. But if you follow the service schedule to the letter, and change trans fluid more often than you need to, you should be fine. GM trucks can be abused and neglected and somehow still operate. But they're no Ram, so...

I’ve been daydreaming of something real similar to that. I’d love to get a 2016 Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4. Crew cab in white with the 6'5" bed. Exact same as below minus the running boards. I’m looking at $47K CAD if I want one.
